Godin have debuted the latest entry into their electric guitar range with the Summit Classic HT, a product which sees the Canadian cohort branch out further into the electric production sector.

Boasting a lightweight, chambered Canadian Laurentian basswood body with a carved maple top, the Canadian-made Summit Classic HT offers players with a resonant, dynamic natural tone, while the maple top of the guitar allows for a little extra tang and sonic character.
A Silver Leaf maple 24.75″ set-neck facilitates superior sustain and promises a sturdy playing experience under demanding onstage conditions, while a 22-fret rosewood fretboard helps to put the cherry on top of the cake.
In the pickup department, Godin have opted for a pair of direct-mounted Custom Godin and Godin Custom Zebra humbuckers in the neck and bridge position, which can be controlled via the guitar’s recessed volume and tone controls in addition to a three-way toggle switch.
Godin have also incorporated their advanced High Definition Revoicer system into the guitar, giving players access to a wide variety of tones by interacting with the character of the pickups.
By engaging a button located near the Tone control, players can alternate between passive and active pickup types, effectively allowing them to have “two sets of pickups in the same guitar”.
Available in semi-gloss Havana Brown and Trans White finishes, the Summit Classic HT incorporates superior hardware such as a GraphTech nut, tune-o-matic bridge and a stopbar tailpiece, making for a sturdy and tonally versatile alternative to traditional LP-style guitars.
