Audient launches new iD interfaces, introduces EVO recording bundle

Words by Will Brewster

The iD line has received a spruce up for 2021.

A leading name in the home interface market today, Audient has announced a handful of new interfaces and recording bundles to join their lines in 2021.

Most notably, the UK audio firm have upgraded their acclaimed iD14 and iD4 interfaces to a MkII format. The new models each boast an expansive dynamic range of 120dB, making A-D and D-A conversion a breeze for the units.

As well as receiving a sleek new facelift, both interfaces are now totally bus powered, with the iD14 MkII and iD4 MkII making use of USB 3.0 and USB-C respectively.

Elsewhere, the iD14 MkII has received an additional headphone output and two more line outs, while the iD4 retains the single mic preamp and JFET DI of the original model.

Another new addition to the Audient family comes in the form of EVO, with the sub-brand continuing on last year’s well-received debuts with the Start Recording Bundle.

By pairing a SR1 condenser microphone, shock mount and SR2000 headphones, the Start Recording Bundle aims to get you doing just that, putting simplicity right at the forefront to appeal to music makers of all kinds.
