The new basses all feature multi-laminated Alder/Maple/Alder bodies with a stiff maple core designed to accentuate the instrument’s mid-range. They also have a bolt-on miter neck that is attached with six bolts to enable a more efficient transfer of string vibrations through the body, as well as custom-wound pickups with a medium-high output with ‘vintage’ voicing.
The new Yamaha BB 234, 235, 434, 435, 734A, 735A, P34, and P35 broad basses can all be viewed in the gallery above and are available now.
