Xotic is redefining legendary vintage designs in its new California Classic XTC series of electric guitars.
The new range takes the characteristics of vintage models and pairs them with modern appointments for an entirely new playing experience. Each guitar features either premium ash or weight relieved alder bodies, and are available with a variety of aging options ranging from light to super heavy.
“The goal isn’t to reinvent the wheel, but redefine a legendary guitar by making modern adjustments with custom specs that improve playability and tone,” explained William Raynaud, Xotic master luthier.
XTC guitars offer roasted flame maple necks with a choice of maple or rosewood fingerboards, available as a 9.5” or 12” variant. There are a staggering 20 finishes to choose from in either Standard or Premium categories, offering colour schemes such as Butterscotch, Surf Green, Sonic Blue, and Shoreline Gold.
Gotoh vintage locking tuners, a custom Xotic bridge, and Raw Vintage USA hand-wound pickups also feature as premium appointments for the XTC series.
