Whitesnake and Scorpions link up for huge 2020 Australian tour

Who Says Rock 'N Roll Is Dead?

Rock dogs, unite: stadium-sized heavy-hitters Scorpions and Whitesnake have teamed up to deliver a co-headlining tour of Australia kicking off next year.

The two bands are set to trek across the East Coast next February, making pit-stops in Brisbane, Sydney and Melbourne along the way. It'll be the the first time that Whitesnake have played in Australia since 2007 and also marks Scorpions' first visit to Sydney ever - dunno how they missed that one on their previous trips.

In a statement released today, Scorpions' Klaus Meine expressed his delight at the prospect of touring the country, saying that “As promised…time to come back to Australia! We’re all very much excited to see our fans Down Under in February 2020. Get ready for the bite of Whitesnake and the sting of the Scorpions. We’re gonna rock you like a hurricane!!!! “

Whitesnake's David Coverdale also added his two cents, saying “We are beyond thrilled to be returning to Australia after so many years to play our music for you. What is extra special is we’re returning with our very rocking friends the Scorpions!! SCORPIONS & SNAKES…it doesn’t get any better…or LOUDER! We Promise You These Will Be Nights To Remember!”
