Back in January, a star-studded tribute to the late Chris Cornell of Soundgarden and Audioslave fame went down at The Forum Theatre in LA, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel and featuring the likes of Josh Homme, Mike Patton, Rise Against, Miley Cyrus, Janes Addiction and more.
Now, footage has emerged from one of the night's most electrifying performances: an epic ensemble covering the Audioslave banger 'Show Me How To Live.' Featuring original Audioslave members Tom Morello and Brad Wilk (also of Rage Against The Machine and Prophets Of Rage fame), the cover also sees Metallica's Rob Trujillo assume bass duties for the performance, while none other than Dave Grohl jumps on the microphone to handle lead vocals.
While it's yet to be confirmed whether a full version of the tribute will be released, it's safe to assume that this would have been a momentous gig to witness. Check out footage below.
Chris Cornell was also recently posthumously awarded a Grammy Award for Best Rock Performance for 'When Bad Does Good.'
