‘A-OK’ sees the band eschew the noisy guitars and powerful choruses of their prior works for a breezy, acoustic track with a splash of slide guitar for good measure. The new track is also accompanied by a sleepy, suburban music video, shot by the band’s own Luke Henery, which you can check out below.
Recently, Violent Soho told us that they were plotting on releasing new music prior to their scheduled shows for Good Things, and have hinted at the prospect of a new album dropping soon. It’s been a while since we’ve heard from the gang – to be fair, they did deserve a break after their huge stretch in the spotlight from 2012 – 2017, but boy is it good to have them back.
