'Straight Into Your Arms'

With an almost sold out tour on the horizon, Vance Joy has dropped his latest music video for his single, ‘Straight Into Your Arms’.

The brand new music clip sees a couple of wooden puppets perform an intricate and stunning dance routine, shadowed by humans. Simply beautiful, the contemporary chorography brings a whole new visual element to the already captivating song.

Directed by UK based director, Toby Ashenheim, the clip took months of meticulous, painstaking work to create. The puppets were animated predominantly by hand using strings and basic rigging, with 3D animation taking care of the more complex dance moves."In a way the dolls could be anyone," says Ashenheim. "What’s important is that when they’re together they become something truly special, representing a unique bond between two people who have been very close, friends or lovers… a dynamic that may only ever be understood by them.”

Celebrating his #1 ARIA chart album, Dream Your Life Away, the Australian sensation’s sound is seriously stirring. In addition, with the release of the video release comes news that Ainslie Wills will be opening Vance Joy’s Melbourne and Brisbane shows.
