The USB Cable That Allows You To Power Synths, Pedals, Amps + More!

These technological harbours are the cornerstone of our society and musical instruments are now included into their empire. Through a Kickstarter campaign, the Ripcord has now been developed.

Ripcord is designed to add USB powering options to all hardware devices be it Synthesizers, guitar pedals and even amplifiers. The tangle-free, durable cable has a USB plug on one end with a power plug on the other end, and comes with a vast range of adapters to cater for all kinds of devices.

The Ripcord has a 9V DC voltage output, and a maximum milliamps output current of 1000mA (which is 1A). Just to give you somecontext: the average guitar pedal uses 80mA, and the Korg Volca synths use about 100mA.

The cord was designed to give musicians the flexibility of being able to plug in and play anywhere, and it certainly delivers, with the cord weighing far less than the average bulky power adaptor, and the portability of a standard iPhone cable.
