Tame Impala have confirmed their return to Australia at the end of this year for a national tour that is set to bend minds.
Formed in 2007 from a collection of Perth Bands Tame Impala have been on the radar since the get-go releasing a highly accalimed self-titled EP in 2008, followed by their first album Innerspeaker in 2010 and their exquisitly successful second album Lonerism in 2012, each album groundbreaking in its own right. The band have been touring internationally ever since and are now ready to add a third installment to the collection, Currents.
Currents is dense with lyrical introspection, and embraces the subject of change as a constant, through adventerous and impulsive forms Currents will push and drag liquified ideas in and out of your ears subduing you into a state of hypnosis.
Tame Impala will be showcasing their gems in outdoor ampitheatres to add to the mesmerizing experience. Dates booked in Melbourne, Sydney, Perth, Adelaide and Brisbane, shows will kick off in November.
November 7 - Sidney Myer Music Bowl, Melbourne
November 11 - Sydney Opera House Forecourt, Syndey
November 14 - Belvoir Amphitheatre, Perth
