The Dunlop association and subsequent re release of the Way Huge line seems to have been a successful one so far giving those wanting that once elusive sound another chance with pedals, consulted and overseen by the original designer himself — not just approximated clones from another builder.

As has been the case with a number of Digitech releases of late, the Vocalist Live3 is made in the USA and is built like a tank. Sturdy switches and recessed control knobs make this pedal ideal for the rugged gigging environment that it will no doubt have thrown at it.

This is a great pedal for funk and jazz players who want to explore higher ranges on the neck while still holding down the low end, as well as for rock and metal players who want to add a subsonic rumble to their tone. It’s super tough, super quiet, and sounds incredible.
