Playing through an 8x10 (affectionately known as ‘fridges’ by most people) is something every bass player should do at least once in their life! 4 x10 cabs are cool and typically more than enough volume to smash out any gig but 8 x10s really need to be heard to properly convey their tone, power and sheer size.
Mike Soldano couldn’t have put it better when he says “Our keep-it-simple approach to tube amp design speaks for itself, these new Jet City amps offer my classic Soldano tones at a killer price – I’m proud to put my name right on the front”.
Sure this could be a super simple single channel, two control, low wattage amp with minimal fuss and straight up dialling but that’s not what the Tweaker is designed for. It’s definitely still minimal fuss but how about the option of being able to flick a switch for some extra dirt or to refocus the low end?

Pushing the scales in terms of bass amps WTB300V is a solid piece of work and forget the tiny little, slick amp housing — this screams rock and roll with a big chassis, black grill, solid edges and is really more reminiscent of a ballsy guitar amp.
