STEVE LILLYWHITE TO ATTEND APRA SONGHUBS

Widely regarded as one of the most notable producers in British pop music, Lillywhite has credits on records by artists such as Peter Gabriel, Morrissey, Talking Heads and U2.

 

He’ll be one of a handful of internationa guests attending the global songwriting conference alongside Cruickshank, Audra Mae and Nash Overstreet as well as Australian/New Zealand song writrers Megan Washington, Reece Mastin, Thomaston, JP Fung, Mitch Kenny, THIEF, Michael Paynter and Michael Selorenzis.

 

Co-funded by the Federal Government, SongHubs is an initiative by APRA AMCOS that aims to bring together world renowned writers and producers to work in conjunction with APRA AMCOS members. SongHubs has developed global recognition since it launched in 2013 and has been held in Los Angeles, Toronto, Bali, London and Sydney. So far SongHubs has been directly involved with more than 20 new Australian artists releases and has included Australian writers in two global releases for international American artists Chris Brown and Jason Derulo.
