Steinberg launch the URC USB 3.0 audio interface range

One of the big drawing cards with this new series is the USB 3.0 connectivity, offering a much faster response for latency free recording and fluid DAW operation. All interfaces in the URC series boast a maximum audio resolution of 32 bit / 192 kHz, feature Type-C super speed connection ports and are compatible with Windows, Mac and iOS devices.

If you’re just looking for something small that’ll get the job done in no time, the Steinberg URC22C is the one for you. There’s two XLR/TRS combo inputs with D-Pre microphone preamps, two outputs and phantom power, as well as a monitor mix knob and mono switch on the unit’s faceplate. Integrated DSP technology gives you a range of reverb, channel strip and amp effects while monitoring, and there’s also MIDI in/out to ensure for an all-encompassing studio experience. If you’re just getting started, Steinberg are also offering the URC22C Recording Pack, which bundles in a ST-M01 condenser mic and ST-H01 monitoring headphones.

For those who require a bit more, there’s also the Steinberg UR44c, which features four XLR/TRS inputs, four line outputs and two main outputs, as well as a headphone output with separate volume control. The range also features the UR816C audio interface, with eight mic preamps with phantom power, eight line outputs and two outputs, as well as dim and mute switches on the front panel. Added features include two ADAT Connectors and a word clock connection with SSPPL technology – it’s also rack mountable, ensuring it’s ready to slot straight into your project studio setup.
