Soundbrenner launches musician's watch on Kickstarter, fully funded after 14 minutes

Not Bad At All

Soundbrenner, a revolutionary music technology company seeking to solve universal musician problems through innovation and ingenuity, has launched its latest product on Kickstarter – and surpassed the fundraising goal in just 14 minutes.

The Soundbrenner Core is a watch, metronome, tuner and decibel meter. Dubbed “the musician’s Swiss knife”, the Core offers a host of functions to benefit every musician, including tap tempo, DAW integration, a rhythm coach, multi-instrument tuning, a volume alarm and more.

Users can choose from two models – the Core, made of polycarbonate and aluminium, or the Core Steel, made of stainless steel and leather as favoured by traditional watchmakers. Three watch bands are available – silicone, woven nylon, and premium Italian leather – and all are interchangeable.

The Core’s vibrating metronome allows you to feel the beat with vibrations seven times stronger than an average smartphone. Other features include a multi-sync option to connect up to five devices (or ten through Ableton Link), a chromatic contact tuner that connects to a guitar, bass, violin or ukulele’s tuning pegs via a magnetic port, and a decibel meter to look after your hearing at all times.

While the Core isn't set to ship until March 2019, you can see what else Soundbrenner has on offer through their original product, the Pulse – a wearable metronome.
