ROYAL HEADACHE RETURN WITH NEW ALBUM

Royal Head.jpg

Just when you thought the ride was over, your aching scull swollen with doubt over the future of one of your favourite bands it all flips on a dime overnight. Yes, Mixdown favourites Royal Headache have announced their new album High will be set for an August release via Distant and Vague Recordings / What’s your Rupture?

Born and bred in Sydney and bursting onto the scene in 2011 with the release of their self titled album, the band quickly rose to prominence amongst the ranks of some of our finest touring bands. Making their mark with soulful vocals and compacted by an energetic fast-paced punk rock rhythm section, Royal Headache ventured offshore to play North America and came back to a bucket worth of hype playing shows supporting The Black Keys

After an explosive set recently at Vivid Live at The Sydney Opera House that had police shut down their show due to a mosh pit on stage (sigh), the band is heading back to the states with Total Control and Sheer Mag for a massive run of dates. We’ve got our fingers crossed this same line-up will be announced for their upcoming Australian launch shows too. Stay tuned, we’ll keep you posted.

For now, check out title track ‘High’ off their forthcoming release.
