Roland launch BTM-1 Bluetooth speaker/guitar amplifier

Described by Roland as being ‘fully optimisted for accurate audio reproduction,’ the BTM-1 provides users with a 1/4 inch input to plug any line instrument into the speaker, allowing them to play along to their favourite Spotify playlist within the confines of their bedroom. While it’d certainly be a bit of a stretch to mic up this little fella in the studio, Roland claim with the confidence that the BTM-1 features ‘advanced cabinet design and custom speakers,’ so hopefully this unit can put out some heat when it’s pushed.

The instrument channel of the BTM-1 offers standard Tone, Level and Gain controls, as well as an FX button to engage a delay function. There’s also a minijack stereo AUX input and a headphone socket for when you need to keep things hush, with the unit also offering six hours of battery life with USB charging functionality.
