REFUSED RETURNING TO AUSTRALIA IN 2017

Playing 5 shows across the country, they’ll be hitting all the major cities with Australia’s own High Tension joining them as the opening act.

Refused are highly regarded in hardcore punk circles for their 1998 album The Shape Of Punk To Come, which essentially shaped the future of their genre, elevating their status to pioneers, influencing generations of like-minded bands.

After reforming in 2012, they played sold-out shows across the world before eventually releasing new album Freedom in 2015.

Sick Of It All will be celebrating their 30th anniversary as a band, an incredible achievement for a hardcore band and they sound as fresh and ferocious as ever. Their latest offering, 2014’s The Last Act Of Defiance was full of all the breakneck anthems the band is known for.

High Tension will be well-known to Australian audiences by now and if not then they damn well should be. Karina Utomo and her relentless band are currently Australia’s greatest hardcore punk band garnering praise from the almighty Henry Rollins.

Starting in Brisbane, this will be a real hot ticket so best get your hands on them as quick as you can, they’ll be on sale on 13th of July.
