Red Hot Chili Peppers to perform live in Egypt at the Pyramids of Giza

There aren’t many venues that can top the stature of performing at Madison Square Garden and Wembley Arena, but the Red Hot Chili Peppers' show at The Great Pyramids of Giza might just take the cake.

The band has announced plans to perform at one of the Seven Wonders of the World for what is guaranteed to be an unforgettable experience. RHCP will make the journey over to Egypt for the unique performance in March this year.

It’s not the first time musicians have turned the Pyramids into an unconventional venue – The Grateful Dead, Pearl Jam, Yanni, Sting and Mariah Carey have all received the opportunity to perform at the historic site.

RHCP will play the Pyramids fresh from a huge tour of Australia and New Zealand, which kicks off in Hobart on Sunday February 17. If you’re keen to make the trek over to Egypt, you can snag a ticket here.
