The Raconteurs release first new music in ten years, announce Bluesfest performance

Jack White's Supergroup is Back

Jack White will touch down in Australia for a huge performance at Bluefest next year with his supergroup The Raconteurs, following the release of the band’s first new music in ten years.

The Raconteurs – known in Australia as The Saboteurs – features Jack White, Brendan Benson, Jack Lawrence and Patrick Keeler. Their visit to Bluesfest marks another major addition to the 2019 lineup, which already boasts the likes of Iggy Pop, Paul Kelly, Kurt Vile, George Clinton & Parliament Funkadelic and more.

The icing on the cake of the Bluesfest announcement is the news that The Raconteurs have dropped two new songs, their first in a decade. ‘Sunday Driver’ and ‘Now That You’re Gone’ preview a forthcoming album from the band, which is expected to be released some time next year.

Tickets for the 2019 Byron Bay Bluesfest, going down from Thursday April 18 - Monday April 22  at Tygarah Tree Farm, are available here.
