Queens of the Stone Age, The Killers and more to feature on Elton John tribute albums

Revamp and Restoration showcase interpretations from a wide range of genres of Elton John and long-time collaborator Bernie Taupin’s work, with Revamp predominantly featuring rock, pop, and R&B artists, while Restoration covers country acts.

“It’s always a huge compliment when an artist loves your song enough to take the time and effort to rework it,” said John in a statement. “As songwriters, Bernie and myself are thrilled when singers we admire and respect as much as those on Revamp and Restoration choose to add their own unique twist in the process. It means that our music is still relevant and ultimately that our songs continue to reach new audiences.”

All the classics are covered across the albums, such as ‘Your Song, ‘Tiny Dancer’, ‘Candle in the Wind’, and ‘I Guess That’s Why They Call It The Blues’, and Elton John also makes an appearance in a collaboration with Pink and Logic for ‘Bennie and the Jets’.
