Queen and Adam Lambert to perform at The Oscars

With the commerical success of Bohemian Rhapsody bringing Queen back to the forefront of popular music, the performance will see original members Brian May and Roger Taylor  joined by former American Idol winning vocalist Adam Lambert in what promises to be the most anthemic Oscars night yet. Watch the band’s official announcement below.

Undeniably one of the biggest films of 2018, Bohemian Rhapsody is up for five nominations at this years ceremony, including Best Picture and a Best Actor nod for Rami Malek’s flawless portrayal of Freddie Mercury. The blockbuster film will be going up against the likes of Marvel’s superhero epic Black Panther, Jordan Peele’s BlacKkKlansman and Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper’s A Star Is Born, the latter of whom will also perform at the ceremony.

Tune in to see Queen and Adam Lambert perform at The 91st Academy Awards on Sunday 24 February.
