Paul Reed Smith Guitars have debuted a new collection of SE P20 & P20E parlour guitars, each with quality tonewoods and vintage-inspired finishes.
These new PRS models boast an all mahogany construction for a classic, warm tone, while the hybrid X / classic bracing increases top vibrations for a much more resonant sound. They also feature ebony bridges and fretboards and a bone nut and saddle.
Although the PRS headstock is a little off-putting to see on such a vintage-inspired guitar, the P20 certainly brings its own charm. You can also snag the P20E, which adds a Fishman GT1 pickup under the saddle and a soundhole-mounted preamp.
The P20 and P20E are available in Satin Black, Satin Charcoal and Satin Mahogany finishes, and from the demonstration video, it seems like they're going to be quite popular. Listen below.
PRS Guitars are distributed in Australia via Electric Factory.
