Co-Founders Richard Powell and Simon Tait were “hugely honoured” to accept the award that celebrated their innovative hardware and the time and effort it took to develop it over the last twelve months.
MasterBuilder delivers Hi-Res live recordings to music fans and musicans alike and began emerging in live music venues earlier this year. By combining with OpenLIVE’s proprietary software, artists are able to schedule their own recordings in venues.
The MasterBuilder provides them with a mixed, mastered and optimised recording of their performance. Recordings can then be used for review and released on the OpenLIVE download store in Hi-Res audio in an hour’s time after the performance.
The Sound+Image award is proof of the sheer potential of the MasterBuilder, the creative minds behind it and all those involved in its success so far.
