NAMM 2020: EarthQuaker Devices give the Sun O))) Life Pedal a wider release

Remember How People Paid Like $700 For These Things?

EarthQuaker Devices have given one of the biggest pedals of 2019, the signature Sun O))) Life Pedal octave fuzz, a downsized makeover and have announced a widespread release for the unit this year.

Possibly motivated by all the fuss that surrounded the original pedal, EarthQuaker Devices' second crack at the Life pedal doesn't stray too far from the design of its predecessor, other than its obviously downsized and redesigned chassis. It's an octave fuzz pedal inspired by the likes of vintage effects such as ProCo's Rat and Shin-Ei's FY2, and features a secondary clean boost section to make your amp blast off into cascading chaos.

It's worth noting that there's only going to be 2,500 of these new EQD Life v2's made, and they're still pretty pricey. However, if you're a SUNN O))) fan who missed out on that first drop, this will definitely be up your alley. I can see these Life pedals becoming the Yeezy sneakers of the effects pedal world...
