Pioneers of analogue synthesis Moog have announced the launch of their own record label, Moog Recordings Library.
Instigated as an outlet for limited releases of recorded sessions, concerts and experiments from the UK Moog Sound Lab, Moog Recordings Library will kick off with a bang thanks to impending vinyl releases from the likes of The Grid, Hieroglyphic Being and Mika Vainio this year.
Featuring one of the world's rarest electronic instruments, a reissue of the insane 1960's Moog Modular System 55, the sessions recorded at the UK Moog Sound Lab came about through an open loan from Moog Music Inc. USA designed to encourage the creation and experimentation of left-field electronic music in the UK. You can listen to excerpts of the three new releases below.
Moog are distributed in Australia via Innovative Music.
