DIGITAL COORDINATOR – ABC Music (Sydney) 

ABC Music & Events is one of Australia’s largest independent record labels specialising in classical, country, kids, blues, roots & more! They are looking for an experienced and enthusiastic Digital Co-ordinator to work closely with the ABC Music Label Managers and Digital team, coordinating and executing ABC Music and Events digital strategy across online platforms and digital music providers to increase audience engagement and reach. In this role your days will be filled with a mix of creative, administrative and people-focussed tasks. You’ll be heavily involved with the creation of digital marketing campaigns across social media, search and all other external third party sites.

 

Skills/Responsibilities Required: 

  • Experience managing a brands social media presence including content creation and maintaining tone of voice
  • Proven experience working in a record label or digital music provider 
  • An understanding of both physical and digital marketing of music
  • Excellent client relationship skills; interpersonal, problem solving
  • Experience in computer applications such as Photoshop, basic Adobe suite and video editing software.

 

Tasks Include: 

  • Maintain ABC Music & Events social media channels, websites and playlists
  • Aid the Manager with implementing digital strategy for label activities
  • Contribute to the maintenance of ABC Music owned and artist YouTube channels including weekly uploads and optimisations
  • Assist in pitching to Digital Service Providers by collating key info for priority releases

PA + COORDINATOR – MARKETING & PARTNERSHIPS – Paisley Music and Media (Melbourne) 

Paisley Music & Media is a boutique agency representing music festivals and tours across Australia. They’re seeking an all-rounder who is keen to further their experience in the music industry. For 50% of the role you’ll be working across marketing and partnerships, gaining experience in both and we can guarantee there’ll be a few pinch yourself moments. You’ll be expected to attend two festivals with us as a team, one at the start of December and another at the start of February – if you are unavailable at this time, or in the weeks leading up please do not apply. The other 50% of this role will be admin and PA work, assisting the Director/Owner of Paisley across a range of tasks. On any given day you could be charged with everything from a coffee run, booking flights or sitting in on a major client meeting. Your role is seriously valuable to our Director so being supportive, intuitive and a great communicator is essential. If you don’t like asking questions, this isn’t the role for you.

They are currently searching for a contracts administrator to join their team in Sydney! 

 

Skills/Responsibilities Required: 

  • 1+ years in a similar role
  • Proven success in an administrative role
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail skills
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritise work for optimum output
  • Motivated, energetic, and self-directed as well as being an effective collaborator
  • Astute organisational capability couple with strong time management skills
  • Previous experience in the music industry is not essential however will be highly regarded

  • Update/amend contracts as instructed
  • Engagement with relevant parties to obtain signed contracts
  • Filing and management of co-signed contracts
  • Liaising with agents or agents assistants on contracts as necessary
  • Provide regular reports on status of contracts
  • Implement safeguards so that due process is followed in necessary timeframes

They are seeking an experienced Sales Coordinator to join their fast-paced performance-driven team. Your main focus will be providing high-level administrative and business development support to a Business Development Manager.

 

Skills/Responsibilities Required:

  • Must demonstrate advanced communication skills, resilience, and highly-developed interpersonal skills
  • 5 years’ recent experience in a high-level administrative, business development or sales support role
  • Ability to write clear, concise reports and presentations for a variety of stakeholders
  • Minimum typing speed of 70WPM, with dictation experience using a headset or similar
  • Demonstrable commercial acumen, including the ability to generate and analyse financial models
