Social Media Co-ordinator – UNIFIED

 

UNIFIED is an Australian based music company that provides a varied range of services that include Artist Management, Record Labels, Merchandising and Publishing and anything in between. The newly created position of Social Media Co-ordinator will oversee UNIFIED’s various labels’ social media and creative content creation including UNFD, ONETWO (Illy’s label), Hopeless Records, NLV Records (Nina Las Vegas’ label) and other associated releases.

 

The key responsibilities:

  • Oversee the management of all UNIFIED social media properties including but not limited to We Are Unified, UNFD, ONETWO
  • Report and analyse all social media activity
  • Work with labels and partners on development of all creative content
  • Lead the growth and development of UNIFIED’s Social Media
  • Coordinate the company’s email databases

Music Director – FBi RADIO

 

Now in its 14th year, FBi Radio is an independent broadcaster dedicated to the music, arts & culture of Sydney. Broadcasting on FBi 94.5 FM, FBi Click (on DAB+) and at fbiradio.com, they reach over 460,000 listeners each month, champion Sydney’s creative communities and have a strong track record for discovering new talent. As FBi’s Music Director, you will take the lead in defining the sound of 94.5fm and play a key role in ensuring that FBi Radio is a leading voice for local and emerging culture across a growing number of media platforms.

 

The key responsibilities:

  • Music playlist on FBi 94.5fm
  • Liaising with FBi Click Program Coordinator to determine FBi Click playlist
  • Developing music programming and initiatives for on air, online and events
  • Liaising with artists and industry
  • Providing music feedback and support for broadcasters
  • Determining relevant FBi music partnerships
  • Managing music library and volunteers

 

Skills/experience required:

  • Proven music programming experience
  • Ability to identify new trends in music
  • Understanding of FBi broadcasters and program identities
  • Ability to program for a broad youth audience
  • Strong understanding of radio broadcasting and media landscape
  • Excellent communication, persuasion and organisational skills
  • Strong relationships with music industry
  • Can work in a team environment, especially with volunteers

Senior Recorded Music Manager – BMG AUSTRALIA

 

BMG Australia is seeking a Senior Recorded Music Manager to help launch their recorded music operation in Australia. Based in the new Surry Hills HQ and reporting to the Managing Director, the role offers a unique opportunity to join the fastest growing music company in history and work with an exciting roster of domestic and global talent.

 

The key responsibilities:

  • Work with the BMG international team to identify key releases for the ANZ territory
  • Work with our distribution partners on all aspects of set up and release
  • Liaise directly with management and artist on domestic strategy
  • Manage domestic releases from start to finish including artwork, videos, socials and promotion
  • Champion Australian and New Zealand artists to the international BMG team

 

Skills/experience required:

  • A minimum of seven years experience at a management level at an established record label in Australia
  • Ability to work confidently in a dynamic, ambitious team environment
  • A broad, genre diverse knowledge and love of music
  • A deep understanding of market trends in the digital space
  • Marketing experience in a management position strongly preferred
  • Self motivated, team-orientated, no egos
  • Exceptional relationships with digital partners, radio, television and media contacts
