Metallica gross $155 million from latest world tour

The WorldWired Tour, which kicked off back in October 2016 in support of the SoCal unit’s latest LP Hardwired… To Self Destruct, is set to go up until August this year, with the band set to perform 159 shows in total by the end of the tour.

As Billboard reports, Metallica managed to net over $10 million alone from their last leg across the US in January, and are yet to perform another seven dates in the US before embarking on a 25 date stretch across Europe to conclude the tour. Looks like Hetfield and co. will be laughing their way to the bank with this one.

Recently, Metallica released a live acoustic album entitled Helping Hands: Live and Acoustic at the Masonic, with all proceeds from the sale of the record going to the band’s All Within My Hands Foundation.

Did you know Metallica have their own brand of whiskey named after …And Justice For All’s ‘Blackened?’
