Mackie have given their ProFXv3 series of mixers a facelift, introducing six new models with upgraded features and enhanced Pro Tools integration.
Available in six different size configurations, the new run of mixers from Mackie include inbuilt Onyx preamps to provide a crystal clear playback, while a new GigFX engine with 24 effects makes the Mackie ProFX mixers extremely versatile when used live or in the rehearsal studio. They're also fitted with 2x4 24bit/192kHz USB recording inputs, making them a formidable addition to any home studio setup. The four output / two input configuration also allows you to monitor two seperate mixers within your DAW, while a blend knob allows for latency-free monitoring.
The launch of the new ProFXv3 mixer series also sees Mackie team up with Avid to offer a copy of Pro Tools First with each unit, allowing producers to dip their toes into the industry standard DAW. The two companies have also included the Musician Collection bundle with 23 Avid plug-ins for buyers, offering a package which provides you with all the bang your buck may muster.
With six different sizes to choose from, including the 6-channel ProFX6v3, the 10-channel ProFX10v3, the 12-channel ProFX12v3, the 16-channel ProFX16v3, the 22-channel ProFX22v3 and the 30-channel ProFX30v3, the new Mackie ProFXv3 mixer series should be available to purchase from October 2019.
