LUCINDA WILLAMS ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM

Produced alongside by Greg Leisz and Tom Overby, The Ghosts Of Highway 20 sees Williams’ exploring new territory personally, sonically and vocally like never before. With common themes running throughout, the record is sure to impress.

The majority of the tracks were inspired by real-life experiences throughout the singer-songwriter’s life, all tieing into Highway 20 (or Interstate 20) which runs from Georgia to Texas. From cities she has stayed in, has family residing in or has previously written about, Williams’ has used personal experiences from particular American states to inform her narratives.

Said to feature some of Williams’ most experimental and exciting arrangements yet, The Ghosts Of Highway 20 proves that some things really do improve with age. With a sultry jazz-styled vocals and insane sonic textures, the record is clearly a work of fine art.

The Ghosts Of Highway 20 is out February 5. For more information, head here.
