THE LIVING END ANNOUNCE NEW ALBUM

Shift will be the band’s first album since the release of The Ending Is Just The Beginning Repeating five years ago, after which they took a break. The band will also be heading out on tour to support the record in June, giving fans the chance to see the iconic Aussie act for the first time in since their Retrospective tour way back in 2012.

New single ‘Keep On Running’ is an emotionally charged, powerful song which shows that The Living End hasn’t missed a beat since they’ve been gone, and they sound refreshed and rejuvenated. Written at a particularly turbulent time in his life, frontman Chris Cheney crafted the song with friends Dylan Berry and Stefan Litrownik, and it is as personal a song as he has written. “We all have moments where life is getting the better of us, but that’s when you draw strength and come out the other side stronger,” Cheney says.

With the earlier release of the track ‘Monkey’, the band teased new music, and now the confirmation is here. Shift will no doubt pick up where the band left off from their ARIA award winning last album and The Living End will continue to be a cornerstone of the Aussie rock scene.
