After kicking the music world into overdrive with news of their reunion in recent weeks, legendary Aussie rockers AC/DC have returned with a new single, 'Shot In The Dark'.
If you're expecting something that strays from the tried-and-true AC/DC formula, then it's safe to say 'Shot In The Dark' isn't the track you're looking for.
A fist pumping number driven by a smokey guitar lickm some classic Angus Young shredding and a rousing vocal performance from Brian Johnson, 'Shot In The Dark' is practically exactly what you'd expect from AC/DC by this stage - and it rips.
It's been nearly 50 years since the band first formed, and in that time, they've well and truly made this sound their own. As predictable as it may be, we'll never get tired of hearing the boys do their thing, and on 'Shot In The Dark', you couldn't ask for anything more.
'Shot In The Dark' also serves as the lead single to PWR/UP, the band's first studio album since 2014, which is slated to arrive just around the corner on Friday November 13.
The album, which will serve as a tribute to the late Malcolm Young, will be available for purchase in a number of formats, including a cool rock box package that features inbuilt speakers and a flashing lightning bolt graphic - now that's one for the pool room!
PWR/UP, the new album from AC/DC, arrives on Friday November 13. Preorder it here.
