LANEY’S NEW TONY IOMMI SIGNATURE AMP AND PEDAL

Tommy Iommi Laney Main.jpg

As part of their Black Country Customs range, the company will release an amp head, cabinet and booster pedal. These products are designed to replicate the classic sound captured on the early Sabbath albums, including 1970’s Paranoid and 71’s Master of Reality.

Just as per the equipment used on those recordings, the LA100BL head and LA412 cabinet are both hand-built, and point-to-point wired with a box frame-styled output transformer. The controls featured on the head are gain one, gain two, treble, mid, bass and presence.

The new TI-Boost pedal is also based on Iommi’s modified Rangemaster treble booster, though Laney have also added extra functions with drive, volume, low and high frequency controls with a mid switch.
