KISS announce 2019 Australian shows for final world tour

The rock icons are bringing their ‘End of the Road World Tour’ to six cities around the country in 2019, with scheduled stops in Melbourne, Perth, Adelaide, Newcastle, Sydney and Brisbane. It’s been three years since KISS last visited our shores, and we’re sure fans can expect something big as part of their three-year farewell tour.

Among the dates is a special appearance at the Supercars Newcastle 500, an honour that Supercars CEO Sean Seamer is especially proud of.

“This is an absolute coup for Newcastle and Supercars fans,” said Seamer. “KISS is one of the world’s greatest rock bands. To have them play at our last event of the year, on their last tour, is big news.”

KISS’ current lineup features Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley, alongside Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer.

“All that we have built and all that we have conquered over the past four decades could never have happened without the millions of people worldwide who’ve filled clubs, arenas and stadiums over those years,” said KISS in a statement.

“This will be the ultimate celebration for those who’ve seen us and a last chance for those who haven’t. KISS Army, we’re saying goodbye on our final tour with our biggest show yet and we’ll go out the same way we came in – unapologetic and unstoppable.”
