The Red 16Line is a 1U rack model with 64-ins and out, is Pro Tools HD-compliant and has Thunderbolt 3 connectivity. It has low-latency Focusrite converters, its own Red Evolution mic preamps, and up to 121dB of dynamic range. This is a serious unit obviously geared for pro audio and studio use.
The RedNet X2P is a much simpler proposition, being a desktop format unit with 2-in and 2-out, two Red Evolution mic pres, remote control functionality when combined with a power-over Ethernet switch, but can also be sued with mains power. It has inputs for mix control, and control lockout of the mic pre and output settings.
