Fender unleash the MTG Tube Tremolo pedal

Very Wavy

After being debuted way back at NAMM in January, Fender's new MTG Tube Tremolo pedal has arrived today.

Designed in conjunction with the legendary Bruce Egnater, the MTG Tube Tremolo essentially puts the tones of Fender's legendary tube amplifiers into a compact, pedalboard friendly enclosure. It utilises a US made NOS (new old stock) 6205 preamp tube for its distinctive wavy tone, as well as a digital control circuit to give you the best of both worlds.

The pedal features Level, Intensity and Speed controls to let you tweak the sound of the effect, as well as three different waveform modes for Triangle, Sawtooth and Square wave modulation. There's even a tap tempo knob, which is incredibly useful for hands-free operation. Listen to it in action below.
