Fender reveal Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass models

The company will introduce two different models, including the Limited Edition 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass and the 60th Anniversary Road Worn Jazz Bass.

Both models are faithful reimagnings of the iconic offset bass, with the former featuring a pair of concentric tone and volume knobs, an era-specific ’60s U-neck profile with a bound rosewood fretboard and a gorgeous matching headstock. It also features a killer Arctic Pearl finish and tortoiseshell pickguard, as well as a deluxe vintage style case with all the certificates of authenticty and case candy you’d expect from such a model.

The lacquer finish in Arctic Pearl is complemented by the tortoiseshell pickguard, white binding on the neck and matching headcap, making the 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass® an unforgettable modern classic. Also included are a deluxe vintage- style case with 60th anniversary embroidery and certificate of authenticity. These models are available to purchase now in a very limited quantity, so if you’re keen, you better move fast.

If that one’s a bit too speccy for your budget, Fender are also producing a Road Worn edition of the 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass, featuring all the same hardware and looks with a mid ’60s C-shaped neck and a bit more  vintage flair with its distressed finish. These ones are available in Three Tone Sunburst, Firemist Silver and Olympic White, with the latter two models featuring matching headstocks, and are expected to hit retailers later in September.
