Fender offer in-depth look at Alternate Reality Sixty-Six model

With a distinctive down-sized Jazz Bass body and unique pickup setup, the Sixty-Six is definitely one of the more weird models the manufacturer has put out in recent years. The instrument features a lightweight ash body, maple neck and fretboard with 22 jumbo frets, as well as two Lipstick tube single coils and a beefy Fender humbucker in the bridge position.

 

There’s also a cool (albeit weirdly located) pickup selector switch and funky Jazz Bass styled tone and volume controls with a lavish chrome plate to piece it all together.
