Finally!!!!! Alternative metal mainstays Deftones have shared details of their forthcoming record, Ohms, their first since 2016's Gore.
Ohms, recorded at Henson Studios in LA and Trainwreck Studios in Washington, is slated for release on Friday September 25 via Warner Music Australiam. It's said to be 'a magnificent tour de force' from the acclaimed group, with Deftones reuniting with veteran producer and engineer Terry Date to record the effort.
After drummer Abe Cummingham exclusively revealed to Mixdown in March that Ohms was in its final stages of mixing, rumours of the new release began spreading like wildfire around the web yesterday after the band blacked out their social media before debuting the artwork for Ohms, designed by White Pony collaborator Frank Maddocks.
The record is comprised of ten tracks that are said to condense everything great about the alt-metal titans into one comprehensive release, and honestly, we couldn't be anymore excited.
To support today's announcement, Deftones have also shared the lead single and title track for the upcoming album, 'Ohms', which you can watch below.
Ohms, the new album from Deftones, arrives on Friday September 25. Preorder it here.
