The Darkness are returning to tour Australila in 2020

Because Easter Is Cancelled.

Flamboyant rock piss-takers The Darkness have announced a string of Australian tour dates to usher in their forthcoming record Easter Is Cancelled.

The Darkness will be criss-crossing Australia next March in support of the new record, which comes out this October, performing songs from Easter Is Cancelled as well as all the hits and deep cuts you've come to expect from the group. Next year's tour will be the band's first visit down under since receiving a wild reception from punters at Groovin' The Moo back in 2017, and given the band's phenomenal live reputation, it's fair to assume tickets won't hang around too long for these shows.

Recently, the band shared a 'mini-rock opera' from the forthcoming album called 'Heart Explodes' - check it out above.

Tickets for these shows go on sale on Thursday August 22, with presale for all those eager fans kicking off on Tuesday August 20. Make sure you've got your finger on the buzzer ready for these ones.
