THE CULT RELEASE NEW MUSIC VIDEO FOR SINGLE G.O.A.T

If you’re a cool kid that frequents reddit and 4chan, you’d already know that the song’s title is an acronym for greatest of all time. The film concerns itself with The Cult’s personal identification as cultural outsiders. They personify themselves as a lone fighter who, in a classic underdog arc, uses discipline and integrity to rise up against all odds – it’s all very primal and poetic. Perhaps the story acts as an allegory for the band’s own hardships as they rose to fame?

The lone fighter is revealed to be the amateur mixed martial arts fighter Orlando Friolera of Miami’s Knockout Zone Gym. Directed by Juan Azulay and produced by Ian Astbury, the profound clip is certainly worth watching.
