Containing both Optical and FET compressors, the Golden Ration allows guitarists to explore new dimensions of sound that would have been difficult to create previously.
The Optical compressor is a hand-selected photocell that offers attack and release characteristics, making a gentle musical compression that is difficult to find in typical solid state or tube amps. While it is a subtle design, you’ll wonder how you ever played without it.
The FET compressor can be manipulated with its attack and release abilities to sound as clean or coloured as you like. Though even when the colouring is set to the most extreme of settings, it will still be identifiable as this effect works just like studio level FET compressors.
