Cort unleash the GB74 Gig Bass

Featuring a distinctive Multitone bridge humbucker as well as a standard P-style single coil, the GB74 Gig Bass presents players with a plethora of tonal possibilities, ranging from big and beefy to tight and snappy. The 3-way toggle switch lets you access both inner or outer coils to get the best out of both words, while a pickup balancer knob lets you choose how much you want to blend each pickup to achieve even more tones. There’s even a passive tone control to expand this even further, making the GB74 Gig Bass a bit of a Swiss Army Knife for players looking to achieve a multitude of sounds from one instrument.

The Cort GB74 Gig Bass also features a high-density, die cast zinc Omega bridge which is fully adjustable, while a spoke nut hotrod truss rod allows for precise neck bow settings. Elsewhere, the instrument features an alder body with a Canadian hard maple neck and fingerboard, as well as Hipshot Ultralite tuners, 21 frets, chrome hardware and more – read up on the new model here.
