Cort reveal their first ever multi-scale eight string model

The new series-signature model from Cort features a deluxe swamp ash body with a poplar burl top for a razor sharp tone, as well as a five-piece maple neck inlaid with two purpleheart streaks for optimised shred-a-bility. The KX508MS also boasts a Macassar ebony fretboard with raindrop inlays, designed for ultimate speed across the stretches of the neck, as well as black nickel hardware and Cort locking machine heads.

While we’ve seen these specs and appointments used on previous Cort models, the KX508MS differs from the rest of the bunch with its Fishman Fluence Modern humbuckers with push-pull pots to switch between active and passive sounds, as well as a unique 26.5-to-28 inch multi-scale.

The Cort KX508MS is available now in the eye-catching Mariana Blue Burst finish. Listen to how it sounds in action below, and head here to suss out the full specs.
