Nick Cave has announced the Australian debut of Conversations With Nick Cave, bringing a unique touring experience which combines music and open discussion with the audience around the country.
Inspired by the audience response received when touring Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds' melancholic 2016 LP Skeleton Tree, the Conversations with Nick Cave tour will feature both solo piano performances and a direct open Q&A, offering unparalleled insight into the mind of one of Australia's most unique artists.
The tour, which kicks off in Cave's childhood town of Wangaratta on Saturday January 5, will see Cave bare his soul in a way never experienced before. In a press statement, Cave said, “I thought that a direct conversation with the audience might be valuable... The audience tends to ask more challenging, revealing, playful and ultimately serious questions. You never know what you are going to get."
