The band have been extremely busy since the release of their 2015 debut, In A Restless House, helped introduce the quartet to a much larger audience. Over the last year they have sold out headline shows both at home and in the UK, where they appeared at The Great Escape and Liverpool Sound City, before returning for slots at Splendour in the Grass and Falls Festival.
City Calm Down have stated that this will not only be their largest headline gig to date, but will also be their last before taking a break from live shows. Shimmerlands is the latest venture by Melbourne’s Shadow Electric group, who have set up camp at Melbourne University’s Parkville campus for the summer.
