Bon Jovi's support act excused from school with signed note from Jon Bon Jovi

Definitely A Good Excuse To Skip Maths

A note of absence written by Bon Jovi frontman Jon Bon Jovi for one of the support acts on the band's current US tour has gone viral on Facebook.

Texas trio The Contagious, who were recently tapped for the gig of a lifetime supporting Bon Jovi at the Dallas stop of the hair metal group's current US tour, ran into some problems when it came to making time for the gig, with all three band members still attending high school. Thankfully, Jon Bon Jovi stepped in and penned a note to the band's high school, excusing the trio for missing class by claiming that "they were busy being my opening act - and kicking butt!".

While it's unsure whether or not The Contagious had to do any extra homework to make up for missing class, I guess supporting Bon Jovi is a fairly momentous excuse to get out of maths - wish I'd had the opportunity to use that. Check out the viral post below.
