Cardioid mode is optimised for recording sources directly in front of the mic, while omnidirectional mode is suited to recording sound surrounding the mic.
Like many pocket devices, the Yeti Nano is paired with Blue’s Sherpa app, enabling you to adjust its settings and update it in software.
