The Beths debut new single ‘Dying To Believe’ + detail new LP

An up-tempo indie anthem with a pillow-soft vocal melody, ‘Dying To Believe’ is an instant hint: pardon the tongue twister, but it sounds like The Beths at their best. It’s also paired with a lively visual that demonstrates a variety of ways in which one could be a member of The Beths – watch it below.

In a statement released today, the Auckland group have also shared details of their new record Jump Rope Gazers, which features ten tracks that collectively zero in on the communality and catharsis that can come from sharing stressful situations with some of your best friends. The record was conceptualised as the band toured incessantly behind their 2018 debut Future Me Hates Me, and aims to address the profound contradiction of touring the world and being successful yet simultaneously feeling detached from everything you hold dear at home.

If everything goes to plan (but let’s face it – it probably won’t), The Beths are set to trek over to Australia this November to open for Green Day, Fall Out Boy and Weezer on their blockbuster Hella Mega Tour.

The Beths’ Jump Rope Gazers is set for release on Friday July 10 via Dew Process.
